nolan . ord high school . 2011

Nolan is a senior at Ord High School, which is where I graduated. I have never really felt old before, but I am beginning to experience that a bit after seeing Nolan. I reminded myself of my grandma as I held my hand four feet off the ground and said, “I remember when you used to come to the pool and were this tall.”

Photographing Nolan in his Ord athletic gear made me flashback to my “glory days.” I gave up my dreams of being a professional basketball player after finally coming to the conclusion that basketball involves too much running. From the sound of it, Ord is going to have a pretty great guys team this year. Congrats Nolan!! GO CHANTS! Yes, Chants as in Chanticleer. It’s a chicken.
